I especially love these spoons. The long handles and light weight make them easy to hold. Also, the tip is sufficiently pointed to work well to stir even into the edges, but has a nice mouth feel and decent balance. It is reasonable both for drinks and also for cereals, beans and other cooked dishes, without feeling like you're eating out of a service spoon. And, it just feels elegant to be able to stir a tall mug of soup without having to reach in and then wipe the handle each time, because, yes, most people like to eat their food neatly even when dining alone. Great value, fun flatware. I've ordered two sets, and I would love to find matching long handled forks. I pack them in my purse and use them at my mom's house, too. And, yes, I use them for public dining, too, especially picnics. They fit well in my glove box.
