As a new Amazon seller, my journey began not with grandeur, but with frustration. Like many Amazon sellers, I sourced my taper candles from manufacturers in China, only to be met with a common complaint: wax dripping during burning. While some customers overlooked this flaw, my inner perfectionist couldn't ignore it. Determined to find a solution, I scoured the globe, testing candles from countless manufacturers. Yet, none could meet my standards. It was then that I discovered artisans in the US and Denmark crafting perfect dripless taper candles. However, their prices seemed unjustifiably steep. Refusing to compromise on quality or affordability, I embarked on a new endeavor—to create my own dripless taper candles. Armed with a master's degree in Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and entrepreneurial experience from a hardware company in Austin, I was determined to unravel the secrets of dripless candle production. For 11 months, my team and I delved into research and development, relentless in our pursuit of perfection. Finally, our efforts bore fruit—we achieved the impossible, mass-producing dripless classic taper candles, ribbed candlesticks, and twisted candlesticks. Each candle, a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence. Thus, Homeology was born—a brand built on the foundation of dedication to providing our customers with superior products for a better home experience.
